Ingredients

chicken thighs, boneless skinless, cut into pieces 6
garlic 2 cloves, crushed
apple juice 1/4 cup
splenda brown sugar, unpacked 1/3 cup
red pepper flakes 1 tsp
ground ginger 1/4 tsp
ketchup 2 tbsp
apple cider vinegar 1 tbsp
soy sauce 1/3 cup
water 1/3 cup
bourbon 1 1/2 oz (3 tbsp)
corn starch 1 tbsp

directions

  1. in a large skillet; cook chicken pieces until lightly browned.
  2. Remove chicken.
  3. Add remaining ingredients, heating over medium heat until well blended and dissolved.
  4. Add chicken and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes uncovered.
