ground beef 85/15 1 1/2 lbs
brown sugar, packed 1/3 cup
soy sauce 1/4 cup
toasted sesame oil 2 tsp
garlic, minced 3 cloves
green onions, thinly sliced 2
ground ginger 1/2 tsp
crushed red peppers 1/2 tsp


  1. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes and ginger.
  2. in a large skillet over medium high heat. brown ground beef until fully cooked; drain/rinse excess fat.
  3. Stir in soy sauce mixture and green onions until well combined, allowing to simmer until heated through, about 5 minutes.
  4. Serve immediately with rice.
