Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ‏ground beef 85/15
  • 1/3 cup ‏brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup ‏soy sauce
  • 2 tsp ‏toasted sesame oil
  • 3 cloves ‏garlic, minced
  • 2 ‏green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tsp ‏ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ‏crushed red peppers

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes and ginger.
  2. in a large skillet over medium high heat. brown ground beef until fully cooked; drain/rinse excess fat.
  3. Stir in soy sauce mixture and green onions until well combined, allowing to simmer until heated through, about 5 minutes.
  4. Serve immediately with rice.
