Ground beef 1 1/2 lbs
panko bread crumbs 1/3 cup
egg 1
ketchup 1/4 cup
mustard, coarse ground 1/4 cup
worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp
paprika 1/2 tsp
salt 1/2 tsp
onion powder 1 tsp
garlic powder 1/2 tsp
ground pepper 1/2 tsp


coconut oil 1 tbsp
onion, diced 1
worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp
beef base 2 tsp
cornstarch 2tbsp
water 1 cup
paprika 1/4 tsp
onion powder 1/4 tsp
ketchup 1 tbsp


  1. preheat oven to 425­°
  2. in a large bowl, combine all meatball ingredients and mix well
  3. shape into 1 inch meatballs; place on parchment lined cookie sheet
  4. Bake meatballs until done and browning
  5. In a large skillet, melt butter
  6. add onion and cook over medium-high heat until onion is soft and translucent, about 5 minutes
  7. in a bowl, add beef base and water until dissolved, then add cornstarch
  8. add broth and remaining gravy ingredients and cook till sauce is thick. taste and add adjust seasoning as needed
  9. when gravy is done; add meatballs to skillet and toss around  until covered with the gravy.
  10. garnish with parsley.
  11. Server over rice or mashed potatoes
